Free meeting-note template
A simple home for decisions, action items, and the questions still open. Use it with Jotfin or on its own.
Free Markdown files. No email, signup, plugins, or Jotfin subscription required.
Make it your own.
- Open the file in a Markdown editor, or put it in your Obsidian vault.
- Duplicate it for each meeting. Use a name such as
2026-11-07 — Website check-in.md. - Replace the placeholders. Capture the decision, a specific next step, its owner, and its due date.
- Check the source. Add a transcript timestamp or a link to your original note for commitments you may need to revisit.
The filled example uses the fictional website project meeting from our Mac recording and transcription guide. It was organized manually and needs no AI service.
If you paste this into Jotfin’s Your notes, it is a plain-text structure. Markdown formatting is useful when you open or export the note in a Markdown editor.
You may use, copy, and adapt this template for personal or commercial work. No attribution required.
